Sonangol E.P and ENI announced the beginning of production in Mpungi field, which is located in Block 15/06, operated by the Italian oil company.
 
Inserted in the West Pole project, which covers the development in water depths ranging from 1000 to 1500 meters, Mpungi is the third field of this project to go into production after Sangos fields and Cinguvu.
